CONTEXT:-
# The transaction to fifth-genration cellular networks (Known as 5G for short) in soon to happen.
# Union communication minister Ravi Shankar prasad . Announced that the government will be holding auction for spectrum, which includes air waves that will be used to offer 5G or fifth-genration Services in the current calendar year.
ABOUT 5G:-
# It is the next generation cellular technology that will provide faster and more reliable communication with ultra-low latency.
# Latency is the amount of time data takes to travel between it's source and destination.
# A government panel report points out that with 5G , the peak network data speed are expected to be in the range of 2-20 Gigabit per second (GBPS) .
# This is in contrast to 4G link speed in average 6-7 Megabit per second (MBPS) in India as compared to 25 MBPS in Advance countries.
# 5G will have a wider area in the Frequency Spectrum that will ensure no network congestion.
# In addition, it will also ensure Connectivity to a Full circle every thing is connected to every other things.
EVULATION FROM FIRST GENERATION TO FIFTH GENERATION:-
# 1G was launched in 1980 and Worked on anolog radio signals and Supported only Voice Calls.
# 2G was launched in 1990's which uses digital radio signals and Supported both voice and data transmission with a Band Width of 64KBPS.
# 3G was launched in 2000's with a speed of 1MBPS to 2MBPS and it has ability to transmit telephone signal including digitised Voice, Video calls and Conferencing.
# 4G was launched in 2009 with a peak speed of 100MBPS 1GBPS and it also enables 3D Virtual reality.
